So if you didn’t know already we are now under a nationwide lockdown put in place by the UK government due to our inability to follow safeguards and to help us flatten the curve of Covid 19. It’s crazy times for us not just as a nation but as a worldwide community. A lot of fear and anxiety is running rampant in so many of our hearts and minds. For a lot of us we were already going crazy prior to this enforced lockdown, but the reality is this is needed for the betterment of us as a nation and stopping the spread of Covid19. There are dark days ahead still for us as a nation as we are only at the start of this but we can and will come through this if we choose to honour and adhere to the instructions of our leaders.

This time of lockdown prescribed to us is 3 weeks, 21 days. What happens after that we don’t know, however we have the unique opportunity to shape what we get out of this time personally.

Now is the time to do things we always wanted to but said we never had the time. Now is the time to improve ourselves and add an extra string to our bow. Now is the time to start that business we always wanted to. To read that book or study that course. Now is the time to take your faith to a deeper place, to pray, read and study. Now is the time to pick up that instrument that u always wanted to learn. Now is the time to speak to family and friends you haven’t spoken to for so long. The possibilities are endless. Unfortunately there is no other way out of this situation. We have to face it head on. We may not have chosen to be in this lockdown, but we can choose how we go through this lockdown.

So for the next 21 days, I am inviting you to embark on a journey with me called BETTER AFTER LOCKDOWN. Using every day to better ourselves and make sure that we are better in different areas of our lives after lockdown.

You can choose one thing to get better at or 10 things. Whatever you want to do is up to you but you have to be committed to it. Committed to being better. Maybe you know what you want to do but don’t know how to go about it?
